What makes WordPress so great is the number of plugins that are available, so if you need an events booking calendar, a shopping basket, an image gallery or any of the other numerous plugins, these can be integrated seamlessly with your WordPress website.
WordPress was originally conceived as blogging platform so it handles blog posts and a large turnover of content very well, but will suit small or large websites.
